• Is it mandatory to register?

Registration is optional but makes it easier to assess the facts and collect additional information without endangering the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity.

• Is it possible to send an anonymous report?

Yes, it is possible to send reports without registration. However, in the event of loss of the report identification code, the user will not be able to check the status of their report.

• What is the report identification code?

This is the code issued by the system that uniquely identifies the report sent.

• Who examines and handles the report?

The Supervisory Board of EI Towers S.p.A. takes charge of the report and, if necessary, assigns collaborators to handle it.

• Can the Supervisory Board communicate with the Whistleblower?

Yes, the system provides a messaging service that allows the Supervisory Board and any collaborators assigned by it to communicate with the Whistleblower for more effective report management. 

• Can the status of the report be checked?

Yes, registered Whistleblowers can check the status of the report in their private area. If the Whistleblower is not registered, the report status can be checked using the password received when the report was submitted.

• Is the whistleblower’s identity protected?

The Supervisory Board guarantees the confidentiality of sources and information, without prejudice to legal obligations. The platform uses an encryption system to ensure the confidentiality of the data entered by the whistleblower, in compliance with the requirements of Legislative Decree no. 24, 10 March 2023.

• How is the Whistleblower’s identity handled?

The whistleblower’s report and identity are strictly confidential, and the software is designed to hide the whistleblower’s identity. Access to the whistleblower’s identity is granted exclusively to the Supervisory Board through a security procedure that records the access and the reason for it. If the Supervisory Board has seen the whistleblower’s identity, the software sends a notification to the whistleblower.  The software does not use log systems that could be used to identify whistleblowers.
